
On the 10th ChessBase India show we have the very special guest GM Abhijit Kunte from Pune. Abhijit was the fourth grandmaster of India. One of the best years of his chess career was in 2000. He played the Istanbul Olympiad and scored 8.5/12 beating players like Almasi, Bruzon, Mikhalchishin and Leitao. His main weapon in this event was the Ruy Lopez and he scored wins with both white and black pieces. On this show Abhijit relives the memories of these games and tells us anecdotes surrounding the Olympiad.
