The 14th ChessBase India show with Vidit Gujrathi was held on 23rd of October 2017 in Mumbai, one day before Vidit's 23rd birthday. Vidit is, of course, the rising star of Indian chess. With a rating of 2721, he is already world number 31! IM Sagar Shah takes you guys on a journey where you get to know Vidit better - his childhood, how he developed into the star that he is right now. He also asks him about his past trainers and work with Anish Giri.
There is also a lot of chess content in the show as well. In the first part we have the Vidit trying to crack a study by Wotawa and in the third part he shows us a game against Iranian Parham Maghsoodloo where he was in a must win situation.
The show is broken into three parts (more like three clips) that you download when you buy this product (for free!).
1. Vidit Part I - Intro and Vidit trying to crack the Wotawa study (you should open this with the ChessBase reader 2017 provided in the downloads)
2. Vidit Part II - This is the main chunk of the interview where we speaks about Vidit's life and much more. This can be watched in the vlc or any other video player, you do not need the ChessBase reader.
3. Vidit Part III - Vidit's game against Parham Maghsoodloo which should be opened in the ChessBase reader 2017.
Note: Please download the .txt files as well.
